Scooter Safety: Oi! Wearable Airbag

Oi! is a sling-style wearable airbag for electric scooters, designed to be easily wearable in combination with a variety of jackets, bags, backpacks, etc.

The internal airbag is powered by a helium cartridge and armed when the strap is extended to fit around the torso. Oi! is also fitted with sensors, and a variety of electronics so that the airbag is activated in case of impact. Protecting the user’s head and face as well as possible pedestrians from severe injury in case of a head-on collision.
